YACHT WATERMAKER FAQ
Match the required hourly output to daily freshwater demand and realistic generator or battery operating time. The Watermaker Finder provides a preliminary catalog match; final selection follows an engineering review.
Both are catalog configurations within the same capacity family. PRO Touch adds the Touch control configuration. Final controls, electrical arrangement and supplied accessories are confirmed in the proposal.
The DESAL YACHT family is intended for 12/24 V marine installations. The final voltage, protection, cable sizing and battery or generator duty must be checked for the selected model and vessel.
Pretreatment and installation accessories depend on intake arrangement, feed-water condition and operating environment. They are defined during the technical review to protect the high-pressure pump and RO membrane.
Published capacities are catalog ratings. Actual production varies with feed-water temperature, salinity, pressure, membrane condition and installation. Guaranteed project performance is defined only in the approved technical proposal.
